Winter Break

During my winter break the first week we didn't do anything because it had rained alot. The second week my mom was getting ready for christmas. Then what my mom and I did was we went christmas shopping. It was preety cool because there was alot of nice decorations of christmas. After everything my mom was lucky because she got two free fresh christmas trees.
Now it time to do our market because my mom was going to cook for all of the holidays. During
these speacial holidays my mom cooked so, I had to help. My mom made patato salad, turky,
mashpatatoes, and she also made fruit salads. When I helped her it was alot to do because like 14 members of my family were in my house. Then after everything I also looked for a job during
my vacations I finally had found one, but then the gye had said he had hired someone else.
After all I was mad because he had made me go to two interviews and he had gave me his word
he was going to hire me, but im still not giving up. Another thin I did on New Years was whent to sleep very early because I was very sick. After the break was really cold after two weeks my mom decide to take my little brothers to the park. This was the only time we went out except when we whent shopping. Basically dring my whole break I was at home because of the weather. This was all I did in my vacation there want alot of thing we did because of the weather. If the weather was diffrent then we would of gone to more places.

An American is a new man who gets upon new principles. A person who is from here is considered an American. A person who is also imigrated is also considered an American. This means the person fights for the U.S. when there is a war. A person that is also an American could vote for a president . The age a person could vote for a president is age 18 and older. Also the age you can register yourself for the army is 18 and older.The person who is also an America has to get there drivers licinse. On the other hand if you dont have your drivers license ypu could get a ticket. This gives you a permission inorder for you could drive. The only thing the person has to do is go to the DMV and make a test inorder to pass it. If you dont pass it you have to take it again until you pass it.

A person who is an American has there social security. This social security says your from here and in most of the jobs you have to put it. WIth the social security you can also collect your money, it gives you a certain time for you to find a job.

Becoming A better Writer

What is the criteria you need as becoming a better writer? As becoming a better writer the only criteria there is to get better at it, is reading. As I was reading, during the whole semester, I found myself writing more. The criteria there is as you become a better writer will lead you to new words and will also link you, in your english where you have more to talk about.

Therefore as only becoming a better writer you know what you have to say. As you become a better writer not only you get better at it, but you write new words.Where as now you may not know what they mean, but when you read in your free time, learn new words. After learning new words, you won't repeat the someone's, you'll be able to put new word's in essays and say new words to others. As becoming a better writer you fit in your essay with new logic words.

The only clue for my whole semester has been reading, in which made me get better at my writing. Whenever I had the chance, and I also knew it was homework. I made sure I got a chapter book, where I knew I was going to get myself into it. There's not only one clue other than reading, as becoming a better writer the only has been reading and taking where you also learn new words.

As I was reading, during the whole semester, I found myself writing more. As Mrs. Enszer being my english teacher, it has really helped me, it made me improve more, and become a better writer. Also making my essays my english teacher Mrs.Enszer has corrected me in my mistakes, where it make's my essay's sound much better. Even though at the time's I had my essay's sometimes you don't want to show them, but it helps when there is someone who knows how to correct your grammer because it makes your essays sound much better them has help me a whole bunch.

When becoming a better writer the only clue there has been is reading. The criteria there is as you become a better writer will lead you to new words and will lead you to new words and will also link you where you fit in your essays with new logic words. The only clue all along with becoming a better writer is reading is reading . As showing my essay's and having my english teacher revise them, has help me a whole bunch, thanks to her where I only also got better at my essays and became a better writer.

Reflection on the WGA assembly

My first thoughts of the play were the actors sounded real. I also enjoyed watching the plays because I like listening to stories that are based on true stories . The actors actually did good without even practicing they right away started the plays good. Eventhough they didn't had there lines in there hands, they did the play good because they were acting it out at the same time. I really enjoyed watching there plays because stories that are based in true stories makes me want to get into them and watch them at the same time.

Rightnow whats on my mind is finishing highschool and going to college. For my high school year im planning to attand to another highschool. The high school that Im planninng to attend already offers me what I want to study. As Hanging out always with th positive persons
and that are smart they help in many ways . Right now I know I have the chance of getting a scholarship will be a great help as I get into college. Also plannning to get the best grades and always trying my best never giving up and always looking sraight forward of working wiith other person has help me in many ways.

As being in highschool and planning to attend college, also thinking of getting a part time job. By the time I get a part time job. I could save money and be ready to save money by the time Ill be ready to be going to college. The college Im planning to go is the University of Sothern California. For going to the college I want to go to offers me to be a Doctorfor babbies. The way I now this is because last time I was googling it up it came to USC. The college I'm planning to go it turn out to be the best for me because it's really close to where I live.

My plans of changinng schools will also give me a big help. They also get to prepare you as for the requirement that I want to be as preparing and getting me into college. The type of Doctor I want to is being a nurse for babies in intensive care unit. For finishing my high school year the school Im attending to go is to Orthepedic high school. The school offers you to learn about medicines and know the parts of the body. In this way it's offering me big chances to be ready as being a nurse for babies.

As in being someone in the future I look forward of helping out my parents buying the a house. I would like to have my parents a big house because all they've done for me. I waant to show them away of bing thankful. My parents have worked really hard to raise me up. On the other hand, I would want to appreciate my parents by making them really proud of me. By the I've been trying my best to get the best grades ever.On the other hand the school maybe could give me big chances of already knowing the steps that I needs to do inorder for me to become what I want to be. As always hanging out with the positive persons always helping out others it will always guide me forward the right path.

Also being with positive persons always helps you because they help you focus straight forward. In my mind it comes to be always hanging persons who are surrounded with positive ideas and you'll always be succesful as finishing school. In the way of working with others has help in many way because my fellow classmates get the help from me. As in helping them it makes me want to help many persons. When I first read this poem in my textbook buring class,the feelings of the poem really reminded me of love.It had reminded me of wonderful couples and just being happy. At first I wrote it by hand, then I said,''Icould show it to my friends that have a boyfriend'', so they could reflect there expression, as being a couple.

To me in this poem love ment something really strong that is worth alot.. My first thoughts of this poem was two couples being together and looking at a foolmoon and just expressing there feelings. Also the poem to me it means that as with your couple you get to encourage your feelings and just telling each other the truth, as if being a couple who understands each other.

As the poem says one they saw the moon and just stared calling it a silver buttton,copper coin and this just reminded me of that love is so strong that when you exprss your feelingit just gets to you. No matter what nobody could change your thoughts of love. I am from Mexico where alot of hardworking people camt to the United

Expository Essay;World War 1 in Africa

In World War one by Africa, it had to begin as a civil war. The way World War one had to begin was when Europe had expanded the civl war to Africa. Another way inwhich Africa led to war was when it was in phase with the British and the French. This made the British and the French colonieis surround Africa. This was the way how Africa had lead to civil war.
When the war began in Africa, it had first expanded from Europe and then it went to Africa. This made the European Colonies gain power with the African colonies, inorder to have protection. Together both of these colonies made the Allied powers and groups joined together to fight back there enemy across the border.
This has been the begginning of how Africa has started the war.

Another way inwhich Africa llead to war was when it was with the British and French colonies. In addition to it made African troops be with the European command.Together both these troops were made by a small number of white settlers and German troops. In phase of the war it made the Military compaign last longer.

Regarding the British and French colonies surround Africa, it made the conflict become more racist. Therefore consisting of the African soldiers with the German forces because of racist objectoins it became bloodier. According to the war compaign it created such a hardship war, where as many as 30,000 lead to a good amount whom fought in the trenches, others provided labor or were in support of roles.

This has been the way how Africa had lead to a civil war. It had also leaded to weaken the European powers. As soon as this had happened the war had to barrow money inorder to finance the war. Finally, the importance of the war world War 1 has been that old empire didnt collapsed.

Dissuasion

I learned that word in my class with my reading book. I was reading Dissuasion, it means to persuade someone and to perform. This word means to persuade someone and to perform. This word makes you want to get into it because you see a play that makes you want to get into it because you see a play that makes you want to feel happy about. I was seeing a role with Dissuasion where I was the audience and I was seeing a couple of students perform. This happened when I was in the auditorium and other students were performing from coures with there instruments. To have the feeling of this word it means you just want to see a play where they entertain you. The part of speech from the word Dissuasion is an objective where it is described from a play. For Dissuasion it basically means when a couple of people perform, but there's no talking in the performance.

My wild card essay Dealing with a broken arm

In the year of 2001 I broke my arm. When it happened I couldn't believe it. I

couldn't beliieve it. I couldn't believe it becuse I had wished to actually have had a broken arm.

At the time it happened I didn't want it because it was really painful. Before my thoughts

were, I wonder what it is like to have that feling. At the time it had happened I was in the 3rd grade.

I was only nine years old and wanted a broken arm. When it happened my dad was taking care of me because my mom was giving birth at the hospital to my little baby brother. A social worker wanted to put the blame on her, but she couldn't because it was just an accident. At this time when it happened I wasn't even expecting it. I had thought that getting a broken arm was a good idea, but soon it was I found out it was a bad thought after all. When it happened I remember I was going to the icecream truck. Before that I remember begging my dad to let me go.

When he let me go, he told me,''Wait for the ice cream truck toget here.'' I said ,''ok''. He gave me permision, but I didn't listen to him.Instead what i did was ran fast as i could almost to the corner to get closer to the ice cream truck.The ice cream truck wasnt getting closer so, i decidedto run to the corner even closer.Then as i fell and landed on my arm and twisted it.I was scared because i didnt know what to do or expect from my dad.As soon as i fell i just got up quickly,as if nothing had happened, which was imbossible because i was crying and in pain.The lady that was the owner of the aparment building where i lived and saw me. She immediately called the abulance, because my arm looked twisted. A close friend of my mom, which was our neighbor came with me because my dad had to take care of my little brother. When the ambulance took me they put me to sleep.

The only thing that was weird was that I was at the same hospital as my mom. Then my older brother came and took care of me. After everything was over I remember that a nurse had given me a pony that was soft and pink. When we left, later in the car I remembere that I have forgoton it. After all I had a cast for 6 months and did not go to school for 2 months. When I had the cast I was fustrated because the it itched alot especially when it was hot and sometimes I would try to scratch with a butter knife or a pen. It was also hard because the hand that I broke was the hand that I used for everything. When I went back to school it was hard for me to write. After having the cast on I decided to decorate it, so I did and some of my friend wrote thier names on it. Finally when those 6 months were over my hand felt weird without the cast. I had to get use to it by moving it and getting alot of rest by putting a pillow underneath my arm.

The bad part of having a broken arm was that I had to use a plastic bag over it when I took a shower soo that way it wouldn't get wet inside of the cast. To have a broken arm I wouldn't ever want to wish that again. It's a really bad experience the way you are used to do things with the hand you use for everything. I would suggest if someone was to ever run for any reason watch your step. Or you might end up braking an arm ar a leg just like I did. This has been the worst experience of my life so far, and I wouldn't want to ever go throgh it again.

Reading Autobigraphy

During my early reading experience I have read books that have been on T.V. and on movies. One example, inwhich I have read a book and has been a book of Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrests. The way the book is read helps you to visual it and the book gives you more details. Sometimes when my mom takes me to the library I like getting books based on true and scary stories.





These type of books use to make me get into them. The book inwhich I have been interestingg on is Goosebumps, Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets where he moves to a school where he uses a broom to travel and uses a stick for magic. This is one of my books that I have read and seen on T.V. Also when I was in the eighth I remember I had a teacher named Mr. Flores, inwhich influence me in my reading more.



During this time my grade was based on my reading more. One of the reading books that took us 2 months was Hole. When I began reading books they were of hole, Harry Potter and Gooosebumps on the first page I couldn't stop reading. I loved reading these types of books because I know how react an there age and the drk side of their life. I also got to learn more about characters, family and peer and infact inwhich R.L. Stine included about them.



As I was growing up in my teen ages I was reading more due to my grade. When I was readind stories I always read them to myself. I never had nobody of my family read to me. As I began reading I had to go back in my mind and memorize it because I had a test after readind the book. Also whan I had these tests it gave me point inwhich I had to make sure I past english class.



As soon as I started reading books I read more pages each day and got better at it. At the beggining when I got abook I didn't understand it. I would hurry and get another book inorder for me not to get behind. When I usually got book's it was at the library at Berendo, as I use to check out books I remember all of my school teachers use to take us as a class. This is how I started to read more and enjoy it.

Violence Essay

In violence I think its a really bad ideae to use it hbecause there is no need for it. All you get yourself in using violence is nothing but problems. One case in violence inwhich I have heard has been about a friend of mine. He had told me that he was coming out from the bus and he was walking byhimself. After this had happen two gangsters were behind him with a gun on his head and what they did was they took of f hi necklece and his twenty bucks.

It was when a lady was comming out from the bus and then this man was coming out from the bus and then this man came out of nowhere and took off with her neckless. another case I have seen was when I was seen was when I was going to burger king on the coner of Washington and Vermont. It happened when A guy was walking, but toward in front of me. Then out of nowhere these two gangsters came out of a car and they started hitting him with bat. At that moment I was going to get in between them but I couldn't because if not it was going to be 2 against me.



In some other occasion I have seen violence when I was coming from school. This all started because thes guys were claming their hoods and out of nowhere they stareted fitting. Another occasion inwhich I have seened it was like a week ago it was aftershool. I was just going up the hill to mcdonalds and I see these 3 other bald guys running after him. He started running and these bald guys just started beaten him up. In reality what was mest up was howcome his friends about it.



A case where tey have ever expressed it with me has been because supposebly someone had spread a rumor that i was talking bad about them. On the other hand this girl basically wanted to get in a fight with me and I never wanted to use it. I didnt want to get suspended so what happeneg at the end she's the one that got suspended. I had to miss 2 weeks of school because the deans didn't want anything to happen to me.



Having to do with any these situations usually people want to use it because usually people want to feel tough. Using violence like this dosn't lead them anywhere but jail, hospitalm, or a cementary

My Welcome

I have always been proud of being born a U.S ctizen and never have been a raises persoon. I have always cosidered myself an outrageous person and an easy going personality. Im a person that wont critisize anyone by the way they look. The type of persons I neggociate with are persons that dont get into problems. For mylife I want it to be peacefully not with drama. When im always in a bad mood I never take it out on no one . My thought are if you have problems dont take it out on none just dont think neggative think positive.
